During his campaign for governor, John Baldacci sought and received support from national animal-protection activists. A political committee called Humane USA, the nonpartisan political action committee associated with the Humane Society of the United States read about it here

Norma Worley sat on a panel with Wayne Pacelle President of the HSUS and Sara Amundson of the Doris Day animal league. Worley testified in favor of the PAWS 2005 bill that would have virtually ended hobby and show breeders in this country.One has to wonder why, out of all the people working in animal welfare in this country did they choose Norma Worley to sit on a panel with powerful animal rights activists?Read it here
